Crowder Plumbing & Drainage ("we") is the data controller for the personal details you give us. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, email and the address of the job, when you book, call or send a form.
- Details of the work: notes you give us, photos we take on site, and the invoice.
- For landlords and agents, the properties we look after for you and the tenants' contact details you share with us.
Why we use it
- To arrange, carry out and invoice the work you asked for (contract).
- To keep records of gas and water work, which we are required to do (legal obligation).
- To send a service reminder if you ask for one (consent — you can stop them at any time).
Who sees it
Our own staff, and the suppliers who run our job-management software, email and accounts, under contracts that protect your data. Where the law requires it, we notify Building Control and the boiler manufacturer of an installation. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it
Job and invoice records for six years; gas safety records for as long as the law requires. Reminder preferences until you ask us to stop.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
